Bowel Cancer Screening
Each year some of our patients will be diagnosed with bowel cancer. This is a cancer that can be successfully treated if diagnosed early. All patients over 60 are sent a testing kit on a 5 yearly basis which is simple to use and successfully catches bowel cancer in patients who have no symptoms. Sadly, many of our patients do not participate in this potentially lifesaving test. If you receive a free test, we would strongly advise you to use it it may save your life.
